I came back from Argentina on my birthday, 01/12/09. I hadn't sailed in about a month, so I was a little rusty when I hit the water at Chapin Beach on the 24th. Luckily Igor was there in that cloudy morning; and Steve, who caught some of the best winter sessions, was there too... The wind was NW ~25mph, gusty. I sailed my 6.5 Ezzy wave and then went down to my 5.2 Ezzy, still slightly overpowered; the board: Goya FXR 105.
Jumps: Chapin has some nice waves on the outside, which make incredible ramps going out... On my way home I stopped by Sailworld and Jim told me that Corporation works better fir NW, and it's not affected by the tide!!! May be next time...
Speed run on the 6.5
Steve on his small stuff...
and Igor on his big stuff...
